Up to 200 million lithium-ion batteries by 2015
Baoding Fengfan New Energy was established in July, 2006. We are a subsidiary of Fengfan, a $35 million corporation. We produce high-energy cylindrical lithium-ion batteries. According to our production schedule, we will be manufacturing 100 million batteries annually by the end of 2010 and 200 million by 2015. This will make us the largest supplier of our kind in mainland China.
Imported materials and equipment for better quality
Our lithium-ion batteries meet UL, CE, UN38.3 test and RoHS Directive requirements. This is thanks to our imported materials and machinery. We source CMC and NMP from the US, KS6 from Switzerland, PVDF from France and adhesive tape from Japan. We've invested $88 million on equipment from the US, France, Canada and Japan. And unlike our competitors, we use dehumidifiers from Munters of the US to ensure a controlled production environment with 1 percent humidity.
Up-to-date batteries suitable for countless products
Our co***ny is located in the national High Technology Zone in Hebei. Our factory covers 120,000 square meters. We employ 50 engineers to keep our technology up-to-date. They make sure that our products are suitable for the latest notebook computers, digital products, electric tools, bikes and cars, solar products, medical tools and national defense products. We offer 1865, 18500, 26650 and 14500 models.
